Who we are
We are a volunteer organization that serves business women in Brockville and the surrounding area. Whether you have an established business, are part of an organization and are looking to broaden your network or are a new entrepreneur looking for support, this is the place for you.
Established in March of 2009, the Brockville Women in Business is a group of area professionals who meet for networking, education, support and great company.
Our meetings provide an opportunity for business women to share expertise, experiences and successes in a supportive, business-oriented atmosphere that encourages personal and professional growth and prosperity.
Why we do it
We do this because we get it! Business is hard. Working in a leadership role, being an owner of a company, being part of a team... it's all challenging sometimes but it's also INCREDIBLE and worth celebrating! We gather to empower, to help in the struggles the best way a support system can. We encourage and cheer each other on because we are all women in in business.
What we do
Our group meets monthly, every third Tuesday, with planned activities to allow us in our businesses to grow, apply ourselves more effectively and empower each other.
We assist 2 charities chosen by our membership by raising finds for them, showcasing them in our organization and being actively involved in their fundraising efforts.
We have guest speakers that educate us in relatable topics to further our successes in our positions.
